Walk Through The Bible 365 - Novemberنموونە
Arrogant, Proud, Food-Lovers
If you love your city, you’re proud of your city, you enjoy the things your city provides from food to entertainment to success …. and you’ve slipped into Sodom’s sin. It’s so easy. There’s so much to like, so many things to do, contacts to make, schedules to keep, games to play, selfies to take, and so little time for the God who made and cares for us or the poor and needy on our doorsteps.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in our city of plenty we have forgotten about you. We take everything for granted. We think we’ve done it all ourselves. I’m afraid we’ve become the arrogant, proud, gluttons that caused Sodom and Gomorrah’s downfall. Forgive us, Lord. Draw us back to you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
