21-Day Devotional for Christian Writersنموونە
Whatever your writing dream or career, remember: You ‘are God’s handiwork’ and you have been ‘created in Christ Jesus to do good works.’
At times the writing may feel less than God’s handiwork and more like the erratic scribblings of a novice. But that is fine. Whatever your feelings, you have to believe that God has ‘prepared [you] in advance for [this].’ He’s a strategist. After all, there’s a reason He put that writing desire in your heart - it’s His way of revealing our potential to us and the work that He has created for us to do.
If you are not too sure about the direction you should go with your writing career, ask Him to lead you on the right path.
Are you at your best writing books or short stories? Maybe magazine articles are more your thing. Some people find writing greeting card verses lucrative. Spend some time doing some research until you find what you enjoy the most.
Just remember: If you have any doubts, always ask God for guidance and direction. He’s there to help you. So step out in faith and be all you can be.
