21-Day Devotional for Christian Writersنموونە
The Bible is a banquet of fulfilled prophecies, 66 books of wonderful promises, each one written for you and I. No matter your genre, know that what you write will impact people. You may think that your blog “is just a little blog. No one reads it,” but to the person who stumbled on it at 2:00 a.m., it’s a lifeline.
“… the way of love” does not necessarily refer to the human way we interpret love (the emotional aspect). Rather, it refers to Jesus, love itself. In essence, the verse is encouraging and challenging us to follow Jesus, who lived a selfless life, one dedicated to His Father’s service, but at the same time was wholly human.
Eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. This means being bold with your writing expectations, in a practical and spiritual sense. If you believe that you have been called to be a writer, then act like a writer. Take those promises of God for your life and turn them into prophecies for your writing. Set up a blog, write your book, submit your articles to magazines/newspapers. Whatever you do, do it in confidence of the words that have been spoken over your writing life. Declare them every day and hold on to His Word – it never fails.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace
