Everyone loves a good Cinderella story. Maybe not the fairy tale itself, but the idea of an underdog coming up from behind to win the big game is exciting to everyone, right? It’s a story we can all root for because it’s one that we can all identify with. What’s best about those types of stories is that they always include a cheerleader: the person who from the start endlessly cheers on and supports our main character, the person who helps keep the faith when the chips are down, the person who quickly forgives and gives an inspiring speech just in the nick of time. When we step back and think about it, it may even be this person who truly wins in the end. God wants to be our never-ending encourager. He doesn’t push or press; instead, He reminds us that He is here for the long run. He wants the end game to be a life spent with Him. Even if you aren’t ready to make a confession today, take the time to thank God for who He is. He's a God who is patient with us. He's a God who doesn’t want to leave us alone with our consequences. He's a God who wants to be with us as we work to be the people that He knows us to be. Thank Him for keeping His promise to be with us when our valleys feel like losses.

About this Plan
No matter the destination you’re trying to reach, the journey to get there comes with twists and turns instead of a straight path. We often have to reroute. In this devotional we’ll dive into what it looks like to reroute and find a new map along the journey. We’ll see many examples of God working to fulfill the plans He created for us.
