Wholeness نموونە
A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
The core of our journey to healing and wholeness is established on believing our identity is rooted in our position as sons or daughters of the King. Aligning ourselves to this revelation and relationship is the difference between life and death. The heart of our heavenly Father is one of love towards us. He spoke this over Jesus after He was baptised, and Jesus hadn’t even started His ministry. The love of the Father is for us despite what we have or haven’t done. It is unchanging. The difference is, therefore, in how we choose to live our lives - this choice is totally driven by what beliefs we align ourselves to. Do we trust in self or trust in the Father? Do we choose to find our identity in creation in the Creator? God wants us to enjoy creation, the desserts of life, but not find our sustenance in them. Again, that is our free will choice.
Consider this question again: How differently would you live your life if you fully understood what it means to be a son or daughter of the King? Knowing our position impacts our value, our authority, our inheritance, our choices, our potential, and how we live for the purpose planned for us. It all rises and falls on our relationship with God the Father. Our story will only ever have meaning when we understand it in the context of God’s story. God is love. It is who He is and is the driving factor behind the story. He created us to experience what it means to be truly loved. The enemy used freedom of choice to drive a wedge between us and God, but we have a choice on how much power this wedge has over us, how we live out the stories of our lives, and how our stories end.
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER
- Have the things of this world, creation, ever truly satisfied my soul?
- What are the things I am struggling to surrender to God?
- What truths has God been whispering to me along this journey so far?
PRAY: Lord, today I choose to trust you, to put my faith in you, and walk following you. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for me so I can have life in you. I pray for You to continue to show me what it means to be your child. Forgive me for doing things in my strength, and help me grow in trusting you day by day. Amen.
About this Plan
Psalms 18:20-24 says, “GOD made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him.” Wholeness is a 14-day journey of intentionally learning how to bring all the parts of ourselves before Him - spirit, soul, and body. It is about intentionally building our identity in Christ and not creation.
