[Kainos] the Power of Team نموونە
Be Courageous
Have you watched the news lately? Have you seen all that is going on around the world? What better time than this to be courageous? What better time than this to stand up, take action, and make a difference in the world? We need the Gospel of Jesus going forward. We need the truth of Jesus going forward. We need to be able to show the love of Christ to a world that desperately needs it. We as God’s church, team, and body, need a Kainos moment, a new moment to declare the truth of the Lord. We need to be courageous, to stand up for what we believe, and to do what God is telling us to do.
We do not always feel courageous and strong and willing to do things. It is then when we need to have a heart check. We need to stop and ask ourselves what is having an impact on our motivation. Of course, we want to help people in need and reach people for Christ, but why do we feel tired and unwilling? Often, it is because we need God to do something in our hearts. Maybe we do not have our whole hearts devoted to what God wants us to accomplish. We might choose a cautious route instead of a courageous one. A courageous route requires work, surrender, and dependence on God. Building the Temple for the Lord was a God-sized task. It took a lot of courage to say yes and do the work, but Solomon and the people of Israel did it. God will often ask us to do things that seem too big for us to accomplish, but we are His church. We are a team of believers working together for His cause. We have God on our team!
The Bible is filled with verses urging us to be strong and courageous. God wants us to be strong and courageous. He does not command us to “be cautious” but to “be courageous and take action.”
David Livingstone was a Scottish physician, and pioneer Christian missionary. In 1855, His courage allowed him to be the first European to reach the beautiful and majestic falls that he baptized Victoria Falls, in honor of Queen Victoria of England. Thanks to his work, we can now know and enjoy these amazing falls.
Imagine what God can do through the courageous steps each one of us will take! How will God use our courage to further His Kingdom? What waterfall of grace will happen in a person’s heart because were courageous and took action?
About this Plan
As God’s people, we can always do so much more as a team than as one person. Let’s give our best before the Lord, and Jesus will do something amazing through us. In unison and faithfulness, let’s take a courageous step of faith, knowing that God’s hand is upon us because His heart is before us.
