The War on Wisdom

DAY 28 OF 35

What a relief that we don’t have to go about life on our own! We have the opportunity to tap into God’s infinite wisdom as well as the wisdom He gives to His believers.

God in His great wisdom knew that we would need others. Often, we can have big dreams and plans for our lives, but without the help of others, their advice and guidance, our dreams will not come to fruition. It takes humility to ask for help, but we see time and time again that the Bible points us to seeking wisdom from God as well as His people. Once we put pride aside and realize that we are limited in our own understanding, we can seek the advice needed in order to see our plans established.

“Waging war” is no small matter, in fact it is often a matter of life and death. In this proverb we are encouraged to seek out guidance if we are to wage war. Here we are reminded that in both small and big matters in life we should seek out wisdom and guidance.

About this Plan

The War on Wisdom

We are at War, a war raging since the day that man decided to choose a way other than following the Counsel of God. But God in His grace gave us the strategy we need to be victorious - His Wisdom. The 'War on Wisdom' is a 5-week reading plan through parts of the book of Proverbs. Our purpose is to help the believer reclaim the Wisdom of God.
