Do You Want to Be Successful?

DAY 4 OF 7

Let's have Integrity!

Is integrity important?

Integrity speaks of loyalty, honesty, humility, and strong character. In an increasingly evil world, fierce with competition, integrity is often questioned. In a professional environment, people are often tempted to compromise to get what they want or to justify themselves.

What about you: Integrity or compromise? It’s a tough choice, isn’t it?

As children of God, we are not immune from this question. Joseph is one of the characters in the Bible. His life was not easy, but God was always with him. Even though his life was not easy, Joseph was honest and loyal. He was highly valued because he held and understood God's statutes. When Joseph was sold to the Egyptians, God used Potiphar to lift and care for him so that he grew into a young man of strong stature and good looks. Joseph did not escape the devil's attack when Potiphar's wife tempted him (Genesis 39:7-9). Joseph kept his integrity and fled from the temptation.

Let's think about it:

We are in a professional environment, where competition is fierce and people are vying for position. When God promotes you to rise to a higher level of authority, will you still maintain your integrity as a child of God to do what is right based on His statutes? Or do you prefer to compromise to maintain your position, whatever the circumstances?

God has a divine purpose to expand His kingdom. Let's always maintain our integrity as God's children in a professional environment so that people around us can see Jesus in our lives.
