HILLSONG - Let Hope Riseنموونە
Best When We're Broken
“It gives us an opportunity to love and to trust, and to operate from a place of his strength, not our own.” –Joel Houston
From “Mighty to Save” to “With Everything”—“Oceans” to “Hosanna”—Hillsong Church has created music that ushers the human heart into the presence of God – a process explored in revealing detail in the new film HILLSONG-LET HOPE RISE. Singing songs that remind us of the goodness of God, we shift our focus from our own hardships and struggles to his consistent faithfulness. Even more, worship reminds us not to mistake the presence of such hardships and struggles as the absence of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
In fact, ironically, the most potent praise and lasting impact often come from places of real weakness. Especially when we feel broken or unqualified, our worshipful surrender to God allows him to work mightily in and through us. Even Paul, in 2 Cor 12:9, encourages believers to view weaknesses—hardships, struggles, insecurities—as opportunities for God’s strength to shine brightly.
