Discover Your God-Given Purpose

If mission is our what, purpose is our why. God takes joy in blessing us, but He does so with very specific intentions. He blesses us so we can pass along those blessings to others. In doing so, we reflect Christ's true nature. That reflection draws people toward Him with thankful hearts.

We are blessed, and it’s for a reason! God has entrusted us with gifts, resources, and influence to impact the people around us. The challenge we face, then, is keeping others in mind instead of getting caught up in managing our own lives.

Life's busyness and the weight of our responsibilities can make it far too easy to forget our mission. We're here to reflect Christ and lead others to Him, and we're well equipped to do it. There are countless ways we can use what we have to accomplish our God-given mission.

Consider this:

Often the things we take for granted are the very things we can use to make a difference in the lives of others. Our financial security, the food in our pantry, our vehicles and our homes are a few examples. What are some blessings that you could use to serve, bless or empower others?

Take action:

Think of someone you can be a blessing to this week using what you have… then reach out and do it! It’s important that you see how you can use something you’re skilled in to enrich the lives of others and give glory to God.
