Wisdom From James

DAY 2 OF 13

Generous Wisdom

When we face trials of many kinds, it doesn’t feel joyful. There’s a lot of pressure when we are being tested! However, we can use this as a great opportunity to identify with Christ’s sufferings and to ask God for wisdom.

God is so generous that he gives wisdom without finding fault! He wants us to live in wisdom and walk with Jesus. This is actually a promise of God.  It is believing in faith that we will receive it. When we doubt, we don’t see God as our source and we waiver between our own rational and God’s wisdom.

Today we have the opportunity to ask God for wisdom no matter what challenges we are facing. We can ask and know that we receive this gift by faith and trust in God who is our true source of wisdom.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I consider it a joy to suffer in your name as it gives me a glimpse of what Christ went through for me. In this moment, today I ask you for your divine wisdom in my decisions, my relationships, and the direction of my life. I surrender to your ways and receive it by faith. Help me not to doubt and rely on my own thoughts.Thank you in Jesus’ name, amen.
