Wisdom From Jamesنموونە
Bring Back the Sinner
In the final chapter, James brings this letter to an abrupt close.
Faith is an action word; it is an adjective. Therefore, faith in action is to have love and mercy for our brothers and sisters who have gone another way. It sets out to restore them and bring them back into the Kingdom of God. When we put our faith and trust in God (through our actions) and help others find God’s love and peace for their lives, we bring life to their soul and forgiveness from the past. It is a beautiful thing to bring the wholeness that only Jesus Christ can give. Therefore, we are his vessels of faith.
Faith without works is dead!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this epistle and how it mirrors our soul. I pray that today I can move forward in faith to bring back my brother and sister in Christ into faith-filled life, giving them new hope for the future. Use me for your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
