DAY 11 OF 20

When's the last time you were super impressed by someone? Maybe it was their singing, or an awesome play they made, or some new music they just dropped. Or maybe you just noticed how funny, or friendly, or confident they were. On a good day, we can notice other people's unique qualities and be happy for them. But on bad days, we might think, "I'll never be that talented," or start feeling jealous or insecure. I get it! You're not alone.

There are even people in the Bible who dealt with this. In the early days of the Jesus movement, the apostle Paul even had to write a letter to the Christians in Corinth to remind them that God has given all of us distinct gifts and qualities. Our gifts are all meaningful because they can all be used to help love others and make a difference in the world. Because of our distinct gifts, we can all serve in distinct ways.

How can you serve your community in a distinct way according to its unique needs?

About this Plan

Distinct

If someone asked who you are, what would you say? Are you a musician? A basketball player? A friend? A daughter or son? Those things might be true, but have you ever felt like you’re still figuring out who you are, what you’re good at, or why you’re here? In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll explore who Jesus is and discover who we’re meant to be.
