Pass It On

DAY 13 OF 20

How do you know time spent in nature with family was worth it? After all, there are lots of bugs and potentially wild animals involved! So what makes being outdoors so worthwhile? If you haven't had a moment seeing an incredible view with those you love which left you speechless, imagine how amazing that is. If you have had this experience, maybe that memory is coming back to you now . . . because of the impact, it left.

When all is said and done, we often don't remember how many mosquito bites we walked away with or how out of breath we were. We tell stories of that time we were changed forever because of time spent in creation. We experience God in a new way. The writer of today's passage had a similar encounter with God's goodness. Just like we have our unique ways of getting to know God, this psalmist writes of how their encounter with God left them forever changed. The experience was so life-changing the author lived to tell everyone, starting with those they knew best.

So today, how can you let your awe for God impact your interactions with your family?

About this Plan

Pass It On

These days, you see a lot of people using their social media platforms to talk about themselves. But Scripture is filled with stories about "influencers" who made a name for themselves talking about Jesus is and what Jesus came to do. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll be challenged to share the good news of Jesus like the early apostles did.
