Pass It On

DAY 10 OF 20

Have you ever felt overlooked? Maybe you were picked last, or someone took the credit for a project you worked on. It’s not a great feeling, is it? If we’re honest, we’ve all ignored others. Whether intentional or not, it can be easy to dismiss people who are different from us or are in other “circles.” Thankfully this is not how God treats us! In fact, the very first people God chose to share the Good News about Jesus' arrival weren’t influential or elite.

They were a group of lowly shepherds. They were used to being last, overlooked, and dismissed as poor and not important. Yet, they were given the news that Jesus was born! They shared that news with anyone who would listen and didn’t care what others thought. So today, even if you feel like others have overlooked you, be like the shepherds and know God sees you. God doesn’t think you are insignificant. God has given you the best news in the world and calls you to pass it on to unexpected people!

How does it feel to be trusted with sharing the story of Jesus to others?

About this Plan

Pass It On

These days, you see a lot of people using their social media platforms to talk about themselves. But Scripture is filled with stories about "influencers" who made a name for themselves talking about Jesus is and what Jesus came to do. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll be challenged to share the good news of Jesus like the early apostles did.
