Don't Buy the Lieنموونە
We buy the lie when we let ourselves be fooled by people
Not only should we not be fooled by emotions or the enemy, but also we should not by fooled by people.
“Samson, was a handsome and long-haired man, who consecrated to God from birth. He had supernatural strength and no one could defeat him. Samson had married Delilah, a Philistine, aware that he was not allowed to marry a woman from that enemy tribe of the Israelites. Many times Delilah tried to find out where Samson's strength came from, but he would not tell her the truth. Until, on her fourth attempt, Delilah gets Samson to confess the secret of his strength: his hair that was never cut. So while Samson slept, the Philistines shaved his head and then captured and defeated him. Samson was deceived by the person closest to him ”.
My friend... I want to tell you today: Don't marry Delilah! Delilah represents the people who want to deceive you, who want to deviate you ... Those who want to see you defeated, those who do not celebrate your success, those who do not see your potential, those who want to see you limited ... and they may even be Christians!
We cannot be fooled by people. This is why relationships are so important. It is fundamental for our lives to surround ourselves with the right people, those who will encourage us, build us in our purpose and always lift our eyes.
Who are the people around you?
Prayer: Father, I thank you for the people you put arround me who help me grow in faith and in your path. Help me to identify those people who do me no good, who move me away from your purpose and who want to deceive me. I ask you to help me surround myself with the right people. Amen.
