Church Junkies: Jesus Beyond Sunday’s Serviceنموونە
Self-Health
Sin is a deadly virus. It’s endemic to humanity—everyone shares this common denominator. We are born with it. The church is the conduit, the I.V., with the antidote to prevent people from dying of the sin disease.
When we overemphasize the building and its programs, instead of the purpose and the message. We create zombie Christians who only come to life that one hour on Sunday. We can do better than this. And we must.
In your walk with the Lord, there will come a time that you move beyond yourself when your needs are not so acute that you are bleeding out and in danger of expiring.
You “self-health” when you reach those without and share what you have learned about God and the good news and what it has done for you.
When you have a bad day, remember it’s a bad day, in a good life because you know a good God. You are daily seeking God so your leaks are sealed, and you do have something to share.
