Church Junkies: Jesus Beyond Sunday’s Serviceنموونە
Momentary Stalls Don’t Have to be Permanent Stops
Anything that involves people invites the possibility for bad things to happen, right? But somehow, you never expect it to be messy when you think about church. That is until you get hurt from a church experience. Then you can go off in the complete opposite direction and label church as too complicated, too risky, unsafe, full of hypocrisy, and not worth our time.
But God.
He designed the church to connect people in a community, a family gathering. As your physical body can heal itself, so the body of Christ is intended to be the healing agent of the believer.
The church gathering may look different in these challenging days, but it must still happen. And you must be part of it. God uses His church to get you past things you are incapable of getting over alone.
The enemy of your soul is deliberately sabotaging your consistency. How? By doing all he can to devalue the gathering point of believers, the church. His purpose is to disconnect you from your spiritual family.
Satan is watching for the straying Christian who drifts from the protection that God intended the church to be. Don’t let that Christian be you. Stay connected.
