Developing Deeper Intimacy With Godنموونە

“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” Psalms 9:10

Trust Is Key: It is not possible to have intimacy without trust. Intimacy is the ability to feel safe in moments of vulnerability and transparency. The more we know and trust someone, the more we release ourselves to them. The psalmist said those who know God trust Him because of His faithfulness. 

Some believers have trust issues. They have been betrayed, mistreated, and injured by people in their past. Many have transferred their mistrust to their relationship with our Heavenly Father. In order to develop a deeper intimacy with God, we must learn to trust Him to be faithful.
