Instilling Core Valuesنموونە

Instilling Core Values | Visible Reminders
In this series, we’re discussing the importance of developing, communicating, and instilling core values into your organization. In Deuteronomy 6, God gave directions to the Israelites on how to instill His values into the hearts of children.
The final directive comes from Deuteronomy 6:9. It says, “Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
The principle behind this verse emphasizes the importance of visible and physical reminders. If there is not a visible reminder in your workplace then your values will likely be forgotten.
If you desire your values to be remembered and embraced, it is helpful to post them on bulletin boards, encourage staff to hang them in their office or laminate a business card with the values listed for their wallet or purse.

Many organizations go through the exercise of developing core values, only to have employees ignore them. Fortunately, God gave us guidance in Deuteronomy 6 when He commanded the Israelites to instill His values in their children. In this four-part series we'll unpack those commands and apply them to business.
