Vibrant: A Life of Abundanceنموونە
The ability of God to turn bad into good, pain into joy, deserts into gardens, and a wilderness into something bountiful is a theme in Scripture that cannot be overstated. We must remember that what we view as horrific from an earthly point of view is often the fodder from which God creates our very destiny and purpose. What we believe is devastating beyond belief, God is able to transform into a stunning miracle. That’s the power and creativity of the God we serve!
God has guaranteed that He is a Way-Maker and He can make a road in the most parched season of your life. He can use your wilderness as a potent springboard to advance you right into your next assignment. Your wilderness is never wasted when you partner with God on your life’s journey.
Your wilderness has the potential to become the most purposeful and productive place that you have ever visited. How does this happen? It happens when you refuse to drag the problems of the past or the memories of yesterday into the glory that is today. If you can effectively abandon the issues that constituted your history, the Lord will work a miracle in the dry places of your life.
The Lord never meant for the wilderness to imprison you or for your past to paralyze you. The archives of your life were meant to be the starting gate for ministry, for compassion, and for hope. Even a wilderness experience becomes a place of rich growth when you choose to partner with Him rather than with your discouragement. I can assure you that in the barren places of life, God is with you just as He is when life is full and fruitful.
Beauty only grows when it is near a perpetual source of water; vegetation only thrives when it is planted adjacent to an active water supply. You, my friend, will only flourish in direct relationship to your nearness to a fount of Living Water. All of our refreshing comes from the Lord. In Him are springs that never will run dry. He is the birthplace of rivers and streams that will never cease to flow even during times of deep pain. He is your Sustenance, your Source, and your Joy.
