Holy 90 (The Four Gospels)نموونە
What we read this week:
Matthew 28: Jesus has risen and the great commission
Mark 1: Jesus baptized, people healed and preaching in Galilee
Mark 2: The Sabbath and forgiving sins
Mark 3: The Twelve Apostles
Mark 4: The purpose of Parables and the great storm
Mark 5: Demons cast out, and Jairus’ daughter
Mark 6: Commissioning the apostles, John the Baptist dies, feeding 5,000 and walking on water
Notable verse: Mark 4:21 — “He also said to them, ‘is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it to be put on a lampstand?’”
Encouragement for you: In Mark 2, we Jesus forgive the sins of a paralytic. The man was healed of his physical ailment and his spiritual ailment, but most importantly, of course, was his spiritual ailment. He will now spend eternity with Jesus!
Something for you to consider from the reading: Why does Jesus use parables?
