Holy 90 (The Four Gospels)نموونە

What we read this week:
John 16: Conviction of sin, sorrows into joy
John 17: Jesus prays
John 18: Jesus betrayed, arrested, and denied
John 19: The Crucifixion and the finished works of Christ
John 20: The empty tomb, risen Lord, and doubting Thomas
John 21: Jesus appears before the disciples, Peter is restored
Notable verse: John 16:20 — “Truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice. You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.”
Encouragement for you: Your sorrow will turn to joy indeed! Christ’s work was finished on the cross when He gave up His spirit. In His resurrection, our sorrows turn to joy for we have a promise-fulfilling savior.
Something for you to consider from the reading: How can we be restored?
