To Put A Smile on God’s Face

Psalm 80:19

LORD God All-Powerful, make us strong again! Smile on us and save us.

How do you picture God in your mind? Do you picture Him as a big, black-bearded, and white-haired man in a white robe? How about His face? Are you imagining Him laughing or smiling at you? One thing for sure – God smiles.

We smile in happy moments or when certain pleasant things happen. Certain things also put a smile on God’s face. God is looking down at His children to see what they are doing on earth.

God smiles when you praise and worship Him.

God smiles when you’re being kind to your little brother or sister.

God smiles when you help your friends with their school work.

God smiles when you help your mother do the house chores.

God smiles when you pray for your friend who is sick.

Putting a smile on God’s face is not that difficult at all. Having God smile at you should be one of your goals in life. 

  

Prayer

Dear God, I will live all my days with kindness, righteousness, and love so that I can put a smile on Your face. Amen.
