God Is the Source of Promotion

1 Peter 5:6

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.

Promotion is the condition of being moved to a higher position. For example, your daddy is promoted from being a Sales Executive to being a Sales Manager, or you are promoted to be a prefect in your school.

God has shown many proofs on how He promoted His children who obeyed Him. He promoted Joseph, Esther, David, the Shunammite woman, and many others. God has His own way and time for promoting us.

This Psalm emphasizes that we should not use our own way to manipulate someone in order to get a promotion. We should not use the wrong way and ignore God’s word in order to achieve a promotion. 

When God gets involved in the process of your promotion, you will experience a promotion that is beyond your comprehension.

God’s favor is on you and surely, He will promote you at the right time. Wait for it! 

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for Your perfect plan for me. Help me to always trust in You and wait patiently for Your perfect time. Amen.
