Hello Baby, I Love You! Abc's for Young Moms

DAY 1 OF 27

Hello New Momma!

Welcome Baby!

No words, pictures, stories, or even babysitting experience can prepare us for what it is like to be a momma! How can anyone put into words the emotion that wells up within you the moment that new baby is placed in your arms for the first time? It is an indescribable moment that will leave a lasting imprint on your heart for a lifetime.

This new journey will begin to shape you and your child as you both grow and learn together.

This plan is designed to help you enter more fully into this adventure of parenting. It is designed to bring a little wisdom, a bit of laughter, alleviate some of the fear, multiply the delight of discovery, and magnify the joy of nurturing a newly born one-of-a-kind image of God!

When I began writing this reading plan I dedicated it to the several new moms in our discipleship studies in Louisville. Two years later as I finish I am excited to add two more young moms to the list, our daughter-in-law and our daughter, both expecting this coming year! Praising God for the new lives He continues to bring into our family and the world. My prayer is that they all would come to know Him in His perfect time and glorify Him!

READ the SCRIPTURE

Each day you will be given a few Scriptures. May they give you encouragement, wisdom, and understanding.

RESPOND in WORSHIP

Worship the Lord with your heart, soul, mind, and with your life: Write your thoughts, your observations, and your prayers.

Take the Truth to Heart: Choose one Scripture that the Lord is using to renew your mind and transform your heart today.

Ask yourself, what is God revealing to me through this Scripture?

Bring the Truth to Life: Think of ways you can practically apply this Scripture.

The early days of parenting can be super exciting and super overwhelming at the same time. Busy from the moment you wake up in the morning (that is if you got any sleep the night before) until you go to bed at night. This plan offers creative and practical encouragement!
