Not for Evil
But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
Genesis 45:7 (NIV)
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Genesis 50:20 (NKJV)
Have we allowed the pains and hurts in our lives to build walls of unforgiveness, hatred and distrust? Do we trust God enough to allow His greater purpose to take precedence over our hearts? God calls us to bring those broken pieces to Him. Christ, who exemplified His agape love and grace calls us to forgive. Forgiveness is not optional for Christians but is a choice. It is a deliberate choice to surrender all to Him, knowing He has a good plan and purpose for our lives and that we are limited in our understanding. We are to view our circumstances with eyes of faith, entrusting all to the One who is Omniscient and Omnipotent. Take Joseph, who chose to trust God and saw how God's favour and faithfulness helped him prevail through each period of uncertainty. Hence, as we come to Him, He will transform and redeem us for His greater purpose, each one a unique masterpiece enriched for His glory!
Prayer:
Loving Father, we surrender all to You today. Forgive us when we allow the struggles in our hearts to overshadow us in our weakness. Lord, may You do Your deep work in us that we may arise as Kingdom people of great hope. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

About this Plan
Everyone has an origin. It explains why we are here, and who we really are. But what about the origin of mankind? The answer lies in the book of Genesis, which means “in the beginning”. The book will help us understand the beginning of creation, the fall of mankind and unfolds God’s redemptive plan for humanity. Please join us as we journey Through The Bible starting with Genesis.
