DAY 1 OF 4

WHEN GOD'S SPIRIT IS WITHIN US

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

The apostle Paul said that his ministry was due to the work of the Holy Spirit, for his ability to go through various problems in ministry was not because of his greatness, but by the interference of the Holy Spirit.

For us—the believers—the Holy Spirit is a guarantee of everything that God promises or provides in this life. Similarly, when we do a certain transaction, we are asked something that can guarantee the transaction. So, when we make a transaction with heaven, then the Holy Spirit is the guarantor for the transaction.

By our ransom, we have been redeemed and freed from the bondage of sin. We now have perfect freedom by the blood of Jesus Christ. What is a sign that we are free? The Holy Spirit is the seal or the sign that we are free.

The Holy Spirit is within us, will help us, and lead us into righteousness and holiness. The Holy Spirit will rebuke and remind us everyday so we will not fall into the world's wickedness. Since we have been set free by God, it means we no longer belong to a dark world, but we belong to Christ who has set us free.

The mark that we belong to Christ is when our life is controlled by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is a stamp or a sign that we are free.
