How To Live Like a Family That Glorifies Godنموونە
Christ-Centered Home
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15, ampc).
The world continues to be outrageous around us, but we must do all we can to create and maintain a Christ-centered home where everything is done is for God’s glory. We are encouraged to have a home where even angels would feel welcome! “When the home is ruled according to God’s word, angels might be asked to stay with us, and they would not find themselves out of their element” (Charles Spurgeon).
The statement above encourages my very soul. What a wonderful reminder of what a difference Jesus Christ can make in a home. I also remember hearing Ian Thomas say that there should be no explanation for our life except “Jesus.” This is true of our homes as well. Home should be one of the sweetest words you will ever hear.
We need to be raising children in a home where it’s safe for them to give their lives over to God and see what He will do through one little life. Making sure our family feels special is indispensably important, but the most important thing is to make sure every member of our family feels special because of their relationship with Jesus.
Don’t forget that Jesus “has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!” (Ephesians 1:3, ampc).
My friends, the answer to having a Christ-centered home really is Jesus. The answer is eyes on Jesus, the Word. We want them to know more than just what we think; we want them to know what Jesus has said in the Bible. Teach your children to be yielded to Jesus, learning to trust, obey, and walk in His works prepared just for us to walk in, having fellowship with Him moment by wonderful moment forever as He transforms you and your family.
Be encouraged in Christ. He is able. Remember, you matter to Him. He has a wonderful story to tell through your life. He also has a story to tell through your family.

About this Plan
I truly believe that Jesus can make a difference in our families. Home should be one of the sweetest words you will ever hear. “When the home is ruled according to God’s word, angels might be asked to stay with us, and they would not find themselves out of their element” (Charles Spurgeon). God loves FAMILY and wants us to live life as a family that glorifies Him.
