Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru Judeنموونە
Day 7
May we fight for the faith, ensuring that we have indeed come to God through His Son, Jesus, that we’re growing in Christ, and that all around us have an opportunity to hear the true gospel message.
As we pray through the book of Jude, we’re reminded that some people who came out of Egypt in Old Testament times were “tag-alongs” and not true believers. They faced a severe judgment, as did the angels when some followed Lucifer: “And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day” (6).
First of all, Father God, I come to You through Your Son, Jesus, afresh today; as the old hymn says, "I need Thee, oh, I need Thee; every hour I need Thee." And I ask that You use me to have a positive impact for eternity’s sake upon those around me—where I live, work, and play! In my life and ministry, I’m relying on You to keep me from the evil one.

About this Plan
Jesus said that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:31-32). Yet our enemy, the devil, is bent on twisting God’s truth in his all-out efforts to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10). The epistle of Jude exhorts us to contend for truth. Let’s pray through Jude, and be emboldened today to fight for the faith!
