Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru Judeنموونە
Day 1
As we begin our journey through the New Testament book of Jude (in the ESV), we are reminded of God’s great grace. Indeed, the one-chapter epistle begins this way; “Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James” (1a).
Yes, most scholars attribute this book to the half-brother of Jesus and brother of James. Remember, there was a time when Jesus' brothers doubted whether He was the Christ (John 7:1-13). Yet after His resurrection, everything changed. They believed!
Both Jude and James played significant roles in the early church and to this very day, as each was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write a book of the Bible, uniquely calling and equipping us to fight for the faith!
Father God, I praise You for how You have shown great grace to me—once a doubter, now a sold-out believer in Jesus Christ. Grow my faith all the more, using Your Scriptures to help me become more like Jesus every day.

About this Plan
Jesus said that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:31-32). Yet our enemy, the devil, is bent on twisting God’s truth in his all-out efforts to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10). The epistle of Jude exhorts us to contend for truth. Let’s pray through Jude, and be emboldened today to fight for the faith!
