Forgive, Grow And Find God's Path for Youنموونە
Strength From God
We need to be prepared for some conflict in our hearts and even in our relationships when following God’s paths and ways. Whatever our next steps, he will arm and prepare us. God can make us strong enough to deal with whatever battle we face. Where we are not strong, he will give strength. We should do as Peter did: We should get out of the boat and make our way toward Jesus (see Matthew 14:28 – 29). We must fix “our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:2). The first step will be the hardest. We must go out and do it and look for his help: “He trains [our] hands for battle; [our] arms can bend a bow of bronze” (Psalm 18:34). The psalmist David knew who to look to for help.
Living the life God calls us to is difficult, and it is not the end of the battle. It is the beginning. We must find supportive people and use them to spiritually nourish us so that we will be able to stand firm. But God will be there to match our efforts: “It is God who arms [us] with strength” (Psalm 18:32).
