Who Am I Without God نموونە
"WALK WITH ME"
There once was a man who many considered one of the most respected followers of Jesus. He had built quite a reputation as a disciple, leading the early church charge all across the Roman empire. His name was Paul.
You can read all about him starting in the book of Acts and running through a huge chunk of the New Testament part of your Bible.
Yet with all the accomplishments and the reputation of being a spiritual giant, he wrote vividly about his walk as a Christ-follower, saying the following:
I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. Romans 7:15 NLT
Ok, let that sink in for a moment. Paul, a legend in the world of church planting and disciple-making struggled with his walk with Jesus.
Even he battled with his daily choices, trying to make it all work.
We are in good company to know that all of us, even the very best of us have the same need for Jesus. Our daily walk is not the same without Jesus as our Savior.
Paul knew he desperately needed Jesus in his everyday life.
Are you and I as desperate as Paul?
Usually, we start out that way when we first become followers of Jesus. We realize the need for Him to deal with our sin through what happened on the cross. We realize we are hopeless without Him.
But then something happens. We lose that desperation in our walk. We start believing again that we are enough to be who God has called us to be.
We need to walk with a desperate need of a Savior. We need to walk with Him every day as the only hope to get through the day and be who God has called us to be.
Maybe we need to start each day by saying, “Jesus, walk with me.”
