Great Adventurers (Week 2) نموونە
Day Seven - Listen and Follow
Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible.
Let's have a look at what we have learned about listening to and following God.
READ:
‘The Battle of Jericho’ in the Beginner's Bible (pages 132-135) or in Joshua 6:1-20.
This week we have learned:
- Joshua became the leader of the Israelite people after Moses had died. They both listened to and followed God.
- Joshua loved God. He listened to and followed all that God said.
- God had a great plan for Joshua and the Israelites. They all trusted God with everything.
- Even when things may not have made sense to Joshua and the Israelites, they still listened to and followed God.
- Just like Joshua and the Israelites we can make a big noise when we worship God and see things change around us.
- When we listen to and follow God, He provides us with a wonderful life.
ASK:
What things have you learned this week about listening to and following God?
How can you spend time with God today?
REMEMBER:
‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19:26)
SAY:
I'm an adventurer. I am bold. I am strong. With the word of the Lord, I will follow. Wherever you lead, I won't stop. I've been set free! Amen!

About this Plan
In the Bible, we see that through ‘Great Adventurers’ God has changed the world around them for good. God can take the seemingly bad things and turn them for good. We will follow in the footsteps of these ‘Great Adventurers’ and see how God, through their boldness, changed the world around them! This week we’re looking at the story of Joshua and our memory verse in Matthew 19:26.
