God Provides Even When You Grumble
Philippians 4:19
My God will use His wonderful riches in Christ Jesus to give you everything you need.
During their journey in the wilderness, the Israelites grumbled that they didn't have enough food and water. They had seen Him do countless amazing work, yet they still grumbled. Although the Israelites grumbled instead of thanking God, God graciously provided for them instead of punishing them. That is truly who our God is. He is merciful. God provided bread from heaven, which was called manna. Every single day, they would collect enough for a day. God ensured that they would not starve.
When you grumble, it shows that your heart is not grateful for the things you have received from God. God wants you to come to Him with your requests rather than grumbling. That doesn’t mean that God will always give you exactly what you want, but you can trust God to give you exactly what you need.
If you continually remember how God has helped you and blessed you, you will never grumble.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for providing for me even when I grumble. Please forgive me for being ungrateful and give me a heart that loves You more each day. Amen.
