Like A Flower In The Field By Struik Christian Mediaنموونە
Known and loved
It must surely be wonderful to not be constrained by time and to know for certain where you should invest your love. The Lord has this ability and He chooses purposefully and powerfully. He is able to take a look at your life (even when you are a sinner) and gradually direct your heart towards His eternal purposes. He may allow you to first be buffeted by the consequences of your sinful choices, so that you can finally acknowledge His truth and accept His love as true love.
Accordingly, even if you still find yourself in a state of enmity with the Lord, be assured that He knows what it is that you and He will be able to build together in the future. He knows the date when you will be converted. He knows your strong and weak points. He knows what you will struggle with and is even aware of the good that may result from the poor choices you make. He knows your talents and what He will be able to achieve with them.
You are 100% known (see Psalm 139:1–3) and 100% loved, even if you are nowhere near perfect, all because of God’s patient love, which will wait for your purpose on Earth to be completed. This makes one feel loved, doesn’t it?
If there’s one thing that weighs heavily on us, it is our tendency to dwell on our faults and shortcomings. We keep looking back with regret, blaming ourselves for what we’ve done.
You are free, because those sins have not simply been swept under the carpet; you are renewed from within. In addition to this, according to Ecclesiastes, God’s mercy is brand-new every day. You begin each day as a new person.
Prayer
Lord, it is such a consolation to know that even though You are aware of everything, You are still my Ally and Companion on my life’s journey. I trust in Your plan completely. Amen.
The Lord’s infinite knowledge and sovereignty work together perfectly and you can rest secure in the fact that this is above your understanding.
