Growing in Faithنموونە
ICE IN A TROPICAL AREA?
A poor woman became a Christian and amazed other people because of her simple faith. After accepting Christ, she believed the word of God literally. A few months after her conversion her young child became ill. The child's recovery was doubtful. She needed ice to reduce her child's fever, but in the remote area where she lived in this tropical country, it was very difficult for her to get ice.
"I will ask God to send ice," the mother said to the missionary."
"Oh, but you cannot hope that God will do that."
"Why not?" the woman asked. "He has all the power and He loves us. You told me so. I will ask Him, and I believe that He will send me the ice. "
So the woman asked God for ice, and God answered that prayer. Not long after came a violent storm accompanied by hail.
The woman collected a large bowl of hail and the child's fever was healed.
Reflection:
When we pray, we are hanging our prayers to the omnipotence of God. Where is our faith when we pray? When we pray, let us believe in the power of God.
Faith is something that allows us to declare with full confidence that God is with us, whatever happens.

About this Plan
This devotion teaches how faith works in every believer's life. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11: 1). When we have strong faith, we will experience many miracles in our lives. May this devotion give us strength and build our faith that God will work in us and through us.
