Listening To The Word - 1 Yearنموونە
Filled with the Spirit of God
Exodus 31:2-5
“…I have chosen Bezalel…and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts – to make artistic designs…to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.”
What difference does being filled with the Spirit of God make in the development and expression of our skills and abilities and knowledge?
Our skills, abilities and knowledge image our Creator from whom they come. These creative capacities express beauty, form and function. However, when our lives are also filled with the Spirit of God, our creative capacity moves to another level. We are able to cooperate with God himself in the expression of our abilities. Art and design, words and communication become a canvas through which God is speaking. The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to us to make every skill, ability and knowledge an instrument of his.
Lord Jesus, today again I yield my life to your Spirit and ask for your anointing to accomplish your creative purposes, for your glory.
