The Way Of Life

DAY 3 OF 41

Believing in God’s Goodness

We know that the devil came to kill, steal, and destroy. It is reasonable to conclude that the effects of his influence are measured by death, loss, and destruction. Jesus came to give life. And in doing so, He came to destroy the works of the evil one. We must guard our hearts from the deception that attributes death, loss, and destruction to God. Our assignment becomes horribly weakened when we see God as the author of these things, as it is impossible to successfully believe for freedom when it is against our concept of the will of God. Freedom will only be experienced in the measure to which we see God as being good.

Have you kept your heart guarded from this type of deception? Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any lies that have caused you to believe that God was the author of a bad event or difficult time in your life.

About this Plan

The Way Of Life

You’re invited to walk through Bill Johnson’s teaching on The Way of Life. We want to see God demonstrate His will in and through us so profoundly, and obviously, that it becomes the very thing that draws people into the Kingdom. Let us live, love, and lead like Jesus. This plan is taken from Bill Johnson's book, The Way of Life.
