5 Days Of Prophecy And Our Worldنموونە
As believers, what do we have to look forward to? That was the question of the disciples too in John 14. He told them, “Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me” (v. 1). Then, He talks to them about heaven.
First of all, He wants us to know that heaven is a particular place. It is a perfect place because it is being created by a perfect Person. It is a personal place, because there’s going to be a lot of fellowship and exciting activity occurring with both the Lord and other believers in heaven.
It’s going to be a magnificent place. When you read at the end of Revelation the description of heaven, with the jewels and gold that will be part of this magnificent city, all of God’s glory will be manifested there. It will be an uninterrupted place. There will be no night there. You’ll have a brand-new body that won’t need to sleep, so you won’t miss anything.
Today, we don’t experience all of God all the time, but in heaven, we will experience His uninterrupted magnificence. This means we will have happiness like we’ve never had on earth. We’re not going to be sitting on a cloud playing the harp. We’re going to be busy bumblebees serving the King. So, look forward to heaven while you live your life on earth, because it will be a place that will simply blow your mind.
