30/30 Challenge Reading Planنموونە
God wants all His children to be blessed and live full, happy and productive lives in Him. Once we’ve accepted Christ as our Savior, the Holy Spirit lives in us to help us take each step on our journey to becoming more like Jesus. In John 14:26 (NIV), Jesus says that the Holy Spirit “will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” The Bible reveals amazing insight about what it means for God’s Spirit to live in us.
As we pray and study God’s Word, we learn how the Holy Spirit is always working according to God’s perfect plan for each of our lives. And when He begins to deal with us about something that needs to change, we need to pay attention because His supernatural help is available right then for us to be able to face and deal with our issues.
The Lord patiently works with each of us according to His purpose and plan for our lives. He wants to fill us with His Holy Spirit to make us strong on the inside so we can handle things on the outside—in our circumstances. Ephesians 3:19 says we can “have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!“ (AMP).
Think about this: When the Spirit of God lives in your spirit, you can have His strength to be kind when others are irritable or mean to you. You can be patient with a good attitude when things are not going the way you planned. You can speak a word of encouragement to someone when they need it. God can use you to help others because you are “strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in [your] inner man by the [Holy] Spirit!”
Walk It Out
Our lives are meant to touch others who need to know God’s love. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can reach out in compassion and bring hope to hurting people who need to know someone cares. Study Ephesians 3:16-19 to discover more about how God’s Spirit dwells in you, a believer in Christ, and fills you with God’s presence.
