Guardians Of Ancora Bible Plan: Ancora Kids Read A PsalmMostra
THAT’S GREAT!
What have you seen or done, in the past week, that’s been great?
The psalms are songs and poems that are like prayers. Lots of psalms say how wonderful God is – that’s “praise”. In other psalms, the writer tells God he feels angry or needs help. We really can talk to God about how we feel.
King David wrote Psalm 145 (you say it “sahm”) to say something about God. Read verses 1 to 3 and see what it was.
Read verse 2 again. How often did David thank God?
How often do you thank God?
What’s the best way you can think of to praise God? Do it now!
Read verses 4 to 7. Can you find three things people will say about God?
Imagine you are speaking about God. Say those three things aloud or in your head.
Who could you tell about God now?
Imagine being 20 years older. How old will you be? Who might you be telling about God?
Pray: Ask God to help you tell others about him, now and in the future.
