DAY TWO: Keep the Fire of Courage Burning

God created each of us for a purpose.

Look what God chose to create woman from. He didn’t use the femur or thighbone, symbolizing we were created to walk side-by-side. God chose the rib.

The functions of the ribs include respiration and protection. But let’s look at how that relates to its purpose in our spiritual life. We accept Christ into our hearts, and if Christ lives in us, then we are carrying the revival fire of God everywhere we go. In the natural our liver and kidneys filter out all of the impurities that could harm us. 

Our lungs house the very breath given to us as a source of life and life more abundantly. God breathed life into mankind and then stressed how important the breath of God is by forming woman out of the very thing that was needed to protect it in our natural lives.

We must protect the breath of God in our own lives, in the lives of our families, and in the body of Christ. We are to keep the flame burning and not let the light go out.
