Fear Is Not My Future | 21 Days of Prayer and Fastingনমুনা
Do you not believe it? Look at the news or examine your heart. The enemy is attacking, and we need to be battle-ready… dressed in the armor of God.
Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Though he is unable to destroy those who believe in Jesus, that does not give us immunity to his attacks. We are under more attack than those who are not followers of Jesus. The endless cycle gets heavy to carry day after day.
We put on the breastplate of righteousness by asking our Righteous Warrior for his righteousness. When we are tempted and our faith is weak, we cry to him. We become more like Him when we depend on Him through faith. You cannot put on the Breastplate of Righteousness if you neglect God's Word. Our call to wage war against evil is a corporate call. If you neglect His Church, you cannot put on the Breastplate of Righteousness.
We must wear the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, and shoes of the Gospel each day. That armor is our uniform… think of a bulletproof vest. Each day you show up for work, you must have it on. When we walk into our day, those flaming arrows will come. They are Satan's every intention to catch you off guard and debilitate you from your confidence in the power of Jesus.
Here is the BIG IDEA for Day 15, you have more power by following Jesus than any spiritual attack headed your way. We will win the battle, conquer the enemy, reverse his narrative, and remove the impact he wants to have over our lives.
Application:
As you begin your day, put on your armor. Put on your belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, helmet, and sword. Then, pray for the courage to stand the test. Always be ready for the attack, but have no fear, you have the Armor of Jesus.
