Misconceptions
The concept of time is something we may struggle with as human beings. Time is mostly misunderstood, which can lead to misconceptions about it. For instance, people say, “time is money”. But that is a misconception. If time is money, then we all should be wealthy. Time is not money. Time, when invested into something productive and of value to humanity, might over time, lead to money. Some people make their time worth more than others.
Another misconception is, that time heals all wounds, but that is not true. Time alone (by itself) cannot heal all wounds. I will say, God over time heals all wounds. Another misconception is that I do not have time. It is not true. You have time for things you make time for. So, you have time. Do you think that you do not have the time to pray? Believe me, you cannot afford not to have time to pray.
We struggle because we are finite beings dealing with a God who is infinite. God does not have a beginning or an ending. God is eternal. He does not operate in time. To God, a thousand years is like a single day. God is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the beginning and the ending. He made decisions concerning, you before you existed. God can go back to your beginning and correct it so that your foundation is whole.
If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, it is such a beautiful thing to know God and follow God. God is limitless. He has no limitation, no boundary, no restrictions. However, for us to operate, God puts certain systems in place, and if we know how these systems work and work them, it is to our advantage. Genesis 8:22… Between planting and harvest is something called time. And we have no control over it. It can take two days, two weeks, two months, or two years. However, God assures us that for everything that is planted, the harvest is sure (all things being equal). So, be patient, give it time, the harvest will happen.
