Why Doesn't God Answer My Prayers?নমুনা
No.1 - The character of God
God is not helpless. He knows what He is doing. When you're confused and don't understand or know what's going on and why God isn't answering, the most important thing you can do is focus on the character of God. Focus on His character, study His character, and learn who He is. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you God's character through the Word.
Read the Psalms, for example. We learn so much about who God is from the Psalms. Take a concordance and take a word like "mercy" or "righteousness" and see what the Word says about God's mercy and righteousness. Do the same with words like love, goodness, holiness, etc.
Believe the Word rather than your own feelings and questions of doubt. Sometimes, your circumstances can make you feel powerless, confused and embittered. Occasionally, we experience extremely traumatic situations, and there are just no answers. Logical answers often do not help us during such times, but who God is, God's character and actions, remain unchangeable (Num.23:19; Heb.13:8).
God is sometimes gracious not to answer us. A positive answer is not always what’s best. In Psalm 106:15, God gave Israel what they asked, but sent a plague along with it. The people were so preoccupied with themselves that they would not listen to God's counsel and wisdom - that brought God's judgment.
