7 Key Points of the Gospel (Taken From Paul’s Letter to the Romans)নমুনা
Key point 2: We were created by God
“For His [=God’s] invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.” (Romans 1:20)
Today we discuss another question that has been considered for centuries: Where did we come from? How did the earth come into being, with all the plants, animals and people?
The Gospel gives a clear answer to this question. All things were created by the Lord God. We know this not only from the Bible. If we look around us, we see innumerable elements of nature that are so beautiful and complex that they cannot have just come into being by chance. They are true works of art that point us to the existence of a Creator.
It is appropriate to honor Him for His wonderful work, just as you applaud a talented musician or show appreciation for a painter who has created a beautiful painting. It would be an insult to admire the piece of music or the painting and ignore the creator - or to claim that their work of art came into existence spontaneously.
In the book of Revelation, we get a glimpse into heaven that can inspire us to respond appropriately to God's work of creation: “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created” (Revelation 4:11).
Can you wholeheartedly echo these words? If not, what do you struggle with?
