What Would Courage Do?নমুনা
God gives me courage to never give up.
What does it mean in the Bible verse when it tells us to “not get tired of doing what is good?”
It’s kind of like a boy whose parents had a rule about candy: he can only eat it when they give it to him. He decided not to disobey them by sneaking candy anymore. At first, it was easy because he felt proud and his parents were happy about what he was doing. Then, he threw away his secret candy stash. That was a lot harder.
One day there was some candy sitting out. His parents didn’t ask him if he wanted some and didn’t even notice that he didn’t take any. The boy started to wonder if this whole candy thing was worth it.
Later, his friends offered him candy. He knew his parents would never find out if he ate it, but he didn’t take it. Instead of feeling good about obeying, it got worse! His friends made fun of him for not eating candy! Can he keep having courage to do what’s right? Or will he get tired of doing what is good?
He can keep having courage, and you can, too, no matter what choice you have to make. Pray to God, and say the Bible verse to yourself. Keep doing the right thing, and don’t give up. There will be a blessing for you at the right time, even if it takes a long time!
