A Kid's Guide To: Knowing Who God Isনমুনা
No Limits
We may make a lot of plans, but the Lord will do what he has decided.
Proverbs 19:21 (CEV)
When I grow up, I’m going to ____________. Do you have a list of things you are looking forward to doing when you get to decide for yourself? Do you want to pick where you live, choose to skip school, or go out to eat all the time? You will be in control!
But when we get older, we realize we still have boundaries. Maybe you won’t have parents or teachers telling you what to do, but you will have bosses, relationships, money, time, and all kinds of other things setting your limits.
Through various life experiences, we figure out that God has control over our lives.
This isn’t bad news, though. It’s actually the best news ever! It is good that God is in control because he is a good, good God! He has absolute power and he loves us endlessly. He has no limits.
So never doubt that God’s ways are best. Walk in his plans and you’ll find a joyful life. You can trust that he will make good things happen for you now and in the future.
