God’s Promises for Solopreneursনমুনা
Promise: God Will Work Everything Out for Good
My first business venture was in branding. It started off as a one-stop shop for anyone who wanted an online presence. For four years, I went from struggling to making ends meet, to successful projects, to doubting whether this was the business God wanted for me. After all, my income was decreasing and I didn’t know how to continue any longer.
I became upset and started blaming God for putting me on a path of entrepreneurship. While my head was overflowing with worry, I cried out, questioning why He wouldn’t make me successful.
If one thing’s certain, it’s that God calls you and me to glorify Him. In everything you do, He wants you to lift His name high and praise Him.
However, you sometimes lose sight of that purpose and fill yourself with beliefs from the world—as I did. All I longed to be was that wealthy self-made solopreneur in an area that didn’t even have my heart. I was following where the money would be instead of following God’s lead and will. It’s not surprising that things suddenly went sideways. If God is no longer the center of attention, His promise that He will work everything out for your good doesn’t apply to what you perceive as good. That was the case for me.
So I closed down my business. All the time I had invested, all the relationships I had built, seemed gone.
But God humbled me and opened a door. That door would lead to developing Born to Fly and honing my writing talents—something much more aligned with His plan for my life than my first business.
You will see that whatever arduous path God has allowed you to go on, He will lead you to a better place. A place that honors Him more and makes you flourish and serve others better. And that’s what is actually good.
There is no doubt that you can trust God to make your steps straight. Whenever life seems to have turned against you, know that God has a plan.
He will always bring you back on track, as long as you continue to seek Him.
Blessings,
Jane
